• From Seema (Founder):

Sadabahaar emerged out of a homemaker's search for an identity beyond the domestic. Plagued with the idea that, "I want to build something of my own", I noticed my daughter's unbridled love for silver jewelry and sought to combine it with the financial acumen that I had gained from running our home successfully for the past 40-odd years. That, and the kind of patience that only comes with raising three children, helped create and sustain Sadabahaar!

  • From Sanchita (Co-Founder):

Back in 2019, when I was at my wit's end pursuing the penultimate doctoral degree, Sadabahaar came up as a much-needed outlet that allowed me to tap into my creative side. As a postgraduate in history from Lady Shri Ram College, I had developed a keen appreciation for our tangible cultural heritage, and the subsequent years spent in the alleys of Janpath and Chandni Chowk led to a love affair with silver jewelry and that love remains at the heart of this venture.

Ma and I strive to bring forth some of the finest specimens of Indian art, whether through our carefully curated vintage pieces, or through our in-house designs that are arguably ostentatious but definitely breathtaking (yes, I may be biased). Sadabahaar is meant for women and people like ourselves, who are caught up in the chaos of the everyday, but who find a moment to appreciate a work of art, made wearable courtesy of our jewelry.
