Inaaya is a study in how three shapes can make one argument.

At the top, a round stud in rava work — the granulation technique that covers the silver surface in tiny spheres pressed by hand, creating a texture that is dense and warm and entirely distinctive. Below it, a rectangle: the body of the earring, worked with circles bearing dots in their centres, a geometric pattern that feels simultaneously contemporary and ancient, the kind of detail that appears in everything from Mughal architecture to modern graphic design because it simply works. And at the base, a square — plain silver, no embellishment, but for the small silver protrusions that line its sides like tiny brackets, giving the base its own texture without competing with the rava above or the pattern between.
