The crescent has always held the sky's most interesting colours — the pink and gold of dusk at its tips, the deep navy of oncoming night in its curve, the warm amber of the last light before everything goes blue.

At the centre, a white crescent — cool and certain, the moon's own shape in silver-framed glass, clean against the warmth of everything around it. Below the crescent, a rainbow of hand-cut glass falls in the colours of Indian festivities: red, amber, green, navy — each one placed with the logic of something that knows colour deeply, that understands contrast and complement the way a painter understands a palette. Above the crescent, a floral motif in assorted glass crowns the composition, the bloom that sits at the top of the pendant the way a marigold sits at the top of a garland.
