In Barmer, making glass jewelry is a lesson in patience. The artisans take raw white glass, cut each piece by hand, and set it inside hollow silver frames using basic hand tools: no molds, no machine fittings. It’s slow, deliberate work that you can see in the small variations of every single pendant.
This necklace brings together six of those silver glass bells, spaced out along a thick, deep-red braided dori. Leaving room between each hanging lets the silver shapes breathe instead of clustering into a heavy mass. At the base of every bell, a small cluster of freshwater pearls sways gently against your collarbone. It’s stark, raw, and strikingly simple: just deep red cord, bright silver, and white glass.
